Learning Labs Partner Sites

The Early Childhood Initiative, Inc. and the University of Florida Foundation in Miami-Dade County; the University of Hawaii; the Foundation for the Mid-South in Mississippi; and Thrive by Five in Washington represent bold, cross-sector programs working to impact educational policy at a state and local level. These established partnerships have mobilized educators and providers, business and industry, parents and families, communities and decision-makers to make a more concerted and comprehensive effort to assure better outcomes and life opportunities for all children. Each location has a leadership network and set of partners who are working together around a local vision of taking the best that is known and using it locally and in culturally appropriate ways to improve learning outcomes for children and youth.
Each location has a different entry point and the Kellogg Foundation will support that which complements the whole. In order to do so, learning teams will be established for each location that can track and learn together in real-time as the work evolves and consider implications for the future.
