Racial equity is a vision that provides fairness and equal opportunity to all members of society, regardless of one’s race, skin color, ethnicity or national origin. The W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s Learning Labs promotes racial equity, ensuring that all children receive equitable opportunities to grow and thrive in society.

The Florida Learning Labs held the Leading for Racial Equity Institute in December 2009, which brought senior educational, governmental, social and philanthropic leaders together to explore the personal dimensions of racial equity and to identify and eliminate structural barriers. Greg Taylor

Greg serves as the WKKF executive leader for the Learning Labs initiative. As the current Vice President for Programs, he is also a key leader in the foundation's effort to make an honest assessment of racial equity issues within its own organization. His previous experience includes working as the senior director and chief program officer at the Fannie Mae Foundation in Washington, D.C. He took his doctor of jurisprudence degree from Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington and his bachelor of arts degree in political science and urban affairs from Hunter College, City University of New York.
