TOOLKIT: Racial Equity

Overview
Racial equity is a vision that provides fairness and equal opportunity to all members of society, regardless of one’s race, skin color, ethnicity or national origin. The W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s Learning Labs promotes racial equity, ensuring that all children receive equitable opportunities to grow and thrive in society.
The Florida Learning Labs held the Leading for Racial Equity Institute in December 2009, which brought senior educational, governmental, social and philanthropic leaders together to explore the personal dimensions of racial equity and to identify and eliminate structural barriers.
